Ever feel like your life is a mess of raw clay?
Full of debris, a wet mess of mud, seemingly unusable for pottery?... Yet, the potter, loves the clay because he sees what he can make of it, after he has worked out the debris...He never gives up on the clay....
Eventually, it becomes a vessel of honor, something his loving hands have worked into a masterpiece.
Isaiah 64:8
But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand.
2 Cor 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;
Pray in faith for yourself, and for those you love going through difficulties...
It's a process! clay needs to be chosen from the mirky ground, moistened, pounded, refined, removing debris and then pounded on a wheel that is spun vigorously. Sometimes our life feels like it is spinning feverishly. We may even feel like it is out of control. Perhaps it is. Even if it is our of our control, if we are held in the hands of God, it is in His!
So fear not, trust Him and the process.
Cast Your cares upon Him because He cares for you, and has a purpose and plan for your lump of clay!
As long as your in His Hands, even when you feel like you're spinning...
He's got you!
